Usa on con los días y las fechas: on Monday, on the fifth of May. Usa in con los meses y las estaciones: in May, in summer.

Preguntas frecuentes

¿Se dice on Monday o in Monday?

Con los días y las fechas se usa on: on Monday, on Fridays, on 5 May. Con los meses y las estaciones se usa in: in May, in winter. Nunca se dice in Monday. Normalmente decimos on Monday, sin the; para un lunes concreto con más información se puede decir on the Monday after Christmas.

¿Qué diferencia hay entre on Monday y on Mondays?

On Monday suele referirse a un lunes concreto. I go to the gym on Mondays. Funciona igual con los otros días.

¿Cómo se dice una fecha en inglés?

Con números ordinales (first, second, third…), no con one, two, three. En inglés británico se escribe 5 May y se dice the fifth of May.
