Para descrever uma mudança no mundo, use o presente perfeito: Pollution has increased, and many forests have disappeared. Para algo que acontecia no passado e hoje é diferente, use used to: Rivers used to be cleaner. Many species are threatened by climate change.
Para falar de soluções e de situações imaginárias, use a segunda condicional: If more people recycled, we would produce less waste. I wish the air in my city were cleaner.
Por fim, lembre três verbos úteis para as pequenas ações do dia a dia: reduce, reuse e recycle. São fáceis de lembrar e servem de resposta à pergunta What can we do to protect the planet?
Perguntas frequentes
