Mine, yours, myself e outros pronomes
O possessivo substitui um substantivo já conhecido; o reflexivo remete ao próprio sujeito da ação.
- Pronomes possessivos:
- Mine, yours, his, hers, ours e theirs substituem possessivo + substantivo.
- Sem substantivo depois:
- Diga my book, mas this book is mine. Não diga mine book.
- Pronomes reflexivos:
- Myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
- Quando usar reflexivos:
- Use quando sujeito e objeto são a mesma pessoa: I hurt myself.
- Expressões úteis:

- Cuidado com its:

Possessivos e reflexivos em inglês
Pronomes possessivos evitam repetir um substantivo: *That is my bag* pode virar *That bag is mine*.
Não coloque substantivo após *mine*, *yours*, *hers*, *ours* ou *theirs*. *His* tem a mesma forma nos dois usos; *its* só vem antes de substantivo.
Pronomes reflexivos indicam que a pessoa faz e recebe a ação: *She looked at herself*.
Expressões comuns incluem *by myself* (sozinho), *enjoy yourself* (divirta-se) e *help yourself* (sirva-se).
Ao escolher, pergunte se o pronome substitui um substantivo ou retoma o sujeito.
