Use classroom objects and phrases in english

A pen has ink; a pencil can be erased. A notebook is a book of blank pages for writing, while a book is for reading. Use the pictures and example sentences to connect each word to a real object around you.

Classroom requests such as “Can you repeat that?” are useful whole phrases. Learn them as chunks now; the course teaches the grammar behind them later. Point to an object, say its English name and try the matching and picture exercises.
