Level A1 · Beginner
1 Hello!
Say who you are and where you are from with I, you, he, she, we, they and the verb to be.
2 Numbers and things
Count from zero to a hundred, make nouns plural and use a, an and the.
3 This is my family
Talk about your family with my, your, his, her and 's, and point with this, that, these and those.
4 What do you look like?
Describe people with have got and has got, colours and the parts of the body.
5 My home
Say what is in a room with there is and there are, and where things are with in, on and under.
6 Every day
Talk about your routine with the present simple, how often with always and never, and the days and months.
7 Questions
Ask with what, where, who, when and how, and tell the time.
8 Food
Talk about food with some and any, say what you like, and use me, him, her, it and them.
9 Right now
Say what is happening now with the present continuous, and name your clothes.
10 Give instructions
Tell someone what to do or not do with the imperative, and make a request polite with please.
11 Yesterday
Talk about the past with was, were and the past simple.

12 Daily life
Talk about your routine and your job, say how things are done with adverbs of manner, and tell apart what you do every day from what you are doing now.
